By creating or joining a room, or using Demo Mode, you agree to these terms. Reel In Together helps two people pick a movie together by swiping on a shared deck and running a head-to-head bracket on the results. It’s intended for personal, non-commercial use.
Accounts and guests
You can use Reel In Together as a guest with just a nickname, or optionally secure a profile with an email address for a magic sign-in link. You’re responsible for keeping access to that email if you secure a profile, and for anything that happens in a room you create or join.
Who can use it
Reel In Together isn’t directed at children. If you’re under the age required to agree to these terms where you live, you should use it only with a parent or guardian’s permission.
Room content and conduct
Nicknames, avatars, and any preset name you enter should be appropriate for sharing with another person. Don’t use the app to harass, impersonate, or share content unrelated to picking a movie with your partner. We may close a room or remove a profile that’s used to abuse the service.
Movie data isn’t ours
Movie titles, artwork, ratings, and streaming availability are provided by The Movie Database (TMDB) and its data partners — see the Credits page for attribution. We don’t guarantee that data is complete, current, or error-free, including which streaming services carry a given title.
No payments, yet
Reel In Together currently has no purchases, subscriptions, or payment system. If that changes in the future, these terms will be updated first and you’ll be asked to agree to the new terms before anything is charged.
Service availability
Reel In Together is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times, and we aren’t liable for lost matches, history, or watchlist data resulting from outages, bugs, or account deletion.
Ending your use
You can stop using the app at any time, and a secured profile can be permanently deleted from Profile > Delete Account. We may suspend or end access for anyone who violates these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app changes. Continuing to use Reel In Together after an update means you accept the revised terms. Check this page periodically if you want to stay current.
